Worst Days of my Life so far

So I am all sure everyone knows what happened this weekend. Thank GOD Brayden is fine, he is back to his normal self and eating more then he was before. I think he is trying to make up for not eating much at the hospital. I can honestly say that I never new what heartache was until this weekend. It kills and tears your heart apart to hear your little baby cry because of the pain he is in, and there is not a single think I can do for him but hold him and try to comfort him the best I can. The worst part is at the end of the week I have to take him for his two month check up, that means more shots. All I can say is thank you for all the prayers, I know God answers individual prayers but it is a lot stronger when you have people all over the place praying for the same thing. I know this is just one step of the many heartaches I will have as being a mom and I have a feeling that they will not get any eaiser. Thank you all again for the prayers!!!!

The First Day of The Rest of My Life

Well yesterday was the first day of me being a stay at home mommy. It was absolutely amazing and I thank God for every minute and for the blessing of me actually getting to stay home. I started out the day cleaning and doing laundry, not the most glamours job but well worth it...then we went over to Grandma Mona's to wish her a happy birthday and so they could see Brayden. Then I had lunch with my mom came home to a clean house and very happy to see my husband home. The good think about this new job is he made double what he usually makes by 1:45 that afternoon and was able to come home. This new job is a big blessing to our family. Then we stayed at home the rest of the night and played games on the tv. Brayden did a great job sleeping he is sleeping 4 to 5 hours straight a night so I am getting plenty of rest. Today I went over to my mom's house because her and maria got food poisoning. Maria was feeling better so I took her to the mall to get some clothes for school then I am home now and things are just great. God always has a way of working things out in your life and I am sooo glad to be able to get to see Brayden grow, his first step his first words his first everything. My life is truely blessed. Here is a couple of pictures of Brayden yesterday...

My son had blue eyes.....and his hair is getting
a lot lighter. What a handsome baby!!!

He was having fun playing on the floor

He wouldnt pick his head up...

First Pictures

So today we took Brayden to get his first Proffessional pictures taken. We took him to Olan Mills(only because I got a coupon from the hospital for free pictures...that place is expensive) It was great Brayden ate before we left, fell asleep on the way over there, woke up as soon as we got there. His appointment was for 1:15, we got there about 1:10 and I thought this is great...he is in a good mood we will have no problem with these pictures. Well that was until it was about 2:00 and he was getting fussy and wanted a bottle. As soon as I fixed the bottle they called my name. GREAT, so inbetween pictures I was feeding him...he is getting very angry because I keep taking the bottle away, Then the lady wanted me to sit right next to him because I guess she thought he was going to get up and walk away so he kept looking at me because I had the food and was two feet away from him. So needles to say he did not want to look at the crazy lady making funny noises at him....so the pictures were not the best I was able to pick out one, of course he is not looking at the camera but it is still kinda of cute. Hopefully his three month old pictures will come out waaay better. oh and of course Olan Mills with being as expensive as they are there is now way for me to veiw the pictures online....what a dumb place.

Crib Sleeping

Well Brayden has been a good sleeper since he was born....but he has been a good sleeper in his swing and in Mine and Will's room. So I have decided that I am determined to get him to sleep in his crib. This is kind of hard this month because this is the only month I am working for the rest of his 18 years at home with us. So lack of sleep and having to get up and working all day is really hard. Well it is a work in process, tonight we started out rough I am trying everthing I can think of to recreate how he sleeps on me and in his swing. Well I think I hopefully have it because this is the longest he has stayed asleep at one time. I am pretty sure he will wake up in the middle of the night, so I think I might try to get an hour of sleep in.

How we started out the night...
but no........45 mins later....

This is how he is sleeping and staying asleep....
I think the first one looks more comfortable.
